Formative pruning is the process of shaping a tree when it is young. Every variety has a different natural growth habit, unpruned fruit trees will for the most part produce a crown cluttered with branches so yielding smaller, lower quality fruit.

This course will cover:-

When to carry out formative pruning & how to prune a young tree correctly.

The cost will be £12 for members of Orchard Link & £15 for non members.
