Fruit trees grow amongst the graves

Totnes has three community orchards that encourage the growing of edible trees and plants in public places, their care is coordinated by Incredible Edible, Totnes.

Follaton Cemetery Community Orchard includes an orchard of about 40 fruit trees planted among the gravestones in the Town Cemetery, between 2007-2014. It now has many fruiting plum, apple and pear trees.
