Cornwood and Lutton Millennium Orchard

Champions of wheelbarrow jousting

Cornwood and Lutton Millennium Orchard is situated on the edge of the village of Cornwood. There are a good variety of local apple trees, it's a haven for wildlife and wildflowers and is near to mixed woodland. With support from the Growing Orchard Communities project seasonal events and work days were held which encouraged more volunteers and visitors to the orchard. Look out for various work days and get togethers, a wassail and apple day with pressing.
